Meet Eloise
We're supposed to name our cars, aren't we?
Well either way here's Eloise. The 2010 Elentra, my confidant, the one I spend the most time with. I guess we could say she sees the best... and the absolute WORST of me. It feels like the interior of this car is the primary living place for me lately. Perhaps that is because I'm a student and always on the go or maybe it is because I spend literally all of my time waiting in traffic... and at red lights... and at trains... I could go on forever!
This four wheeled wonder has seen the 'classy' heading to an event version of myself, and the pathetic two in the morning pajama wearing hair a mess McDonalds run, nobody make eye contact with me self. I thank myself everyday that this little vehicle of mine can't tell the stories she has seen.
With this blog I plan on looking into the trials and tribulations we all face on a daily basis through our cars. From gas lights coming on in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone reception, to the passenger that just does not understand that the radio is not in their control. Hopefully you can relate to my rants and raves, and maybe have a little laugh.
Safe driving.
-53,000 kms and counting.

Never really thought about how well my car knows me? But now that you have trigger that, it is safe to say I am glad my car cannot share my secrets with other, hahaha
ReplyDeleteI drive an Infiniti G35 6MT, and her name is Gina :)
ReplyDeleteTraditionally I have always names my car with a female name, that corresponds with the first letter of the make!
G35 = Gina.
Good to know I am not the only one who experiences this sometimes embarrassing, yet personal connection with my vehicle.
I love that you named your car Eloise. I'm trying to think of a new name for mine.. naming her Sheniqua at the time seemed funny.. but now? It's just a hassle.
ReplyDeleteAwesome post, Jenn. I love this idea for a blog.
